2025 got off to a powerful start for us as we celebrated the arrival of our latest recruit – and this one’s particularly close to home! Stepping into franchise ownership is 24-year-old Aidan Davis, formerly MPP’s Marketing and Operations Coordinator. With years of hands-on experience and a deep understanding of our brand ethos, Aidan is primed to make an immediate impact in his new South Belfast and Lisburn territory.
Aidan’s journey with MPP started nearly four years ago, working part-time for his dad – the MPP franchisee in Newtownabbey. His dedication and drive soon caught the attention of our founders, Karen and Dave Prewer, leading to a full-time position at head office. From franchisee launches to marketing campaigns and even rolling up his sleeves for hands-on work, Aidan has been immersed in every aspect of the business. But it was the game-changing success of our roof cleaning trials in early 2024 that cemented his decision to make the leap from employee to franchisee.
“I’ve always loved the brand, having seen it from both sides – as a franchisee’s son and part of the head office team,” says Aidan. “But those trials in January opened my eyes to just how much potential there was. The results were undeniable, and I knew then that I had to be part of it in a bigger way.”
Karen, co-founder of MPP, couldn’t be prouder of Aidan’s decision. “Losing such a valued team member was tough, but seeing him take this next step is incredible. His dedication speaks volumes—he even spent Boxing Day cleaning his own roof and signed up a neighbour for £1,000 of work the same day! Before his official launch, he already had more jobs lined up.”
Aidan’s transition to business ownership is a ringing endorsement of our franchise model. When someone who’s seen the inner workings firsthand chooses to invest, it’s a testament to the strength and success of the brand – in our humble opinion!
And it’s not just Aidan taking the plunge – his franchise is set to be a family affair. “My partner Jenna and I had been thinking about our future, and we decided to go all in—our savings, our time, everything. We’re using this business as a springboard to buy our dream home. Jenna’s taking charge of marketing, and my mum—who left her 25-year career to join my dad’s franchise—is handling the admin. Together, we’re building something incredible,” he shares.
Having seen our franchisees hitting £1,000+ turnover per day through roof cleaning and commercial work, Aidan has ambitious goals. His five-year plan includes scaling to a multi-van operation within the year and, long-term, expanding to cover all of Northern Ireland alongside his dad.
Karen sums it up perfectly: “Aidan’s story embodies what MPP is all about – ambition, belief in the model, and taking control of your future. Seeing one of our own make this transition is the ultimate proof of what’s possible, and we can’t wait to see him thrive!”
For Aidan, the excitement is just beginning. “I’m ready to get stuck in, be out on the road, and grow something of my own. The franchisors work tirelessly to support us, and you can see the difference it makes in franchisee success. My dad’s friend went solo at the same time as him, and all these years later, my dad’s business is more than four times the size. That’s the power of franchising—it gives you the blueprint and the support to scale faster and stronger.”
Following a year of record-breaking growth, a rebrand, and innovative service expansions, here at MPP we’re going from strength to strength.
